Conservative Educator is the political, cultural, and resource-sharing blog of Cliff Rosa.
I’ve been in public education for nearly 16 years. Most of my adult life I had avoided conflict and discussion along political/religious lines. I had unwittingly bought the lie that my conservative views were not welcome in the public square. About six years ago, I began getting back in touch with an America that I had loved as a child. This happened largely through listening to WallBuilders Live! , Dr. James Dobson, and Dave Ramsey.
I maintain this blog as a discipline to express my learning, thinking, and growing on a variety of issues impacting education and our culture today. I try to post at least once a week. I focus on highlighting and linking to resources and information that have been informative or equipping for me. I hope they are for you as well.

Principles of my Conservative Educator Blog.
1. Maintain a consistently positive outlook and respectful tone in my posts.
2. Examine issues from a perspective that presupposes truth (usually from a biblical basis).
3. Point educators to helpful resources whether those resources be legal, political, instructional, or technological.
4. Encourage conservative educators to use their voices in influencing education to once again be the vehicle through which children are instructed in “religion, morality, and knowledge”*.
5. Encourage my fellow educators to use their influence so that public schools will once again be friendly to moral and religious people and that Christians would once again be welcome players in the marketplace of ideas.
* See article 3 of the Northwest Ordinance, 1787, one of our early American laws regarding education . “Art. 3. Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged….”
